What a brochure would not tell you
The Sangam boat is priced opportunistically and the quoted figure at the bank moves depending on who is asking. Agree the number and the duration before you board rather than after, or book it through the package so it is fixed.
When to come
October to March. Magh Mela in January and February and the Kumbh cycle transform the city entirely — extraordinary to witness, and an accommodation problem that needs months of notice.
