How booking works
Six steps, no forms, and one person responsible on the day.
- 1
You send three things
Dates, how many people, and anything fixed you are building around — a darshan slot, a ceremony time, a flight. That is enough for a real quote. Everything else we can work out together.
- 2
We reply with an itinerary, not a price
Usually within a few hours. It carries clock times, the queue estimates, the walking distances and the exclusions, so you can see whether the day is achievable before you see whether it is affordable. If your dates do not fit what you want, we say so at this stage rather than after you pay.
- 3
You change things
Almost every booking shifts something — an extra night, a different temple, a slot time we plan around. Re-costing is free and expected. The published package is a starting point rather than a menu.
- 4
An advance confirms it
The advance holds the hotels and the vehicle; the balance is payable on completion. For Dev Deepawali and peak season we ask earlier, because those vehicles and rooms are committed weeks ahead and cannot be held informally.
- 5
You book your own temple slots
Sugam Darshan, Sparsh Darshan, the aartis and Rudrabhishek are booked by you on the Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple Trust portal, at the temple's own fees. Send us the slot time and the driver's day is built backwards from it. We do not sell these and nor should anyone else.
- 6
On the day, one person is responsible
A named coordinator rather than a rota of drivers. If the police change the diversions, a queue overruns or a flight slips, the day gets rearranged around it rather than abandoned.
Questions
- How quickly will I get a quote?
- Usually within a few hours of sending dates, group size and anything fixed you are building around. The reply is an itinerary with clock times rather than just a price.
- How much advance do you need?
- An advance confirms the booking and holds the hotels and vehicle; the balance is payable on completion. For Dev Deepawali and peak-season dates we ask earlier because those rooms and vehicles commit weeks ahead.
- Can I change the itinerary after booking?
- Yes, and most people do. Re-costing is free. Changes inside seven days of departure may carry hotel charges we cannot recover, and we will tell you exactly what before you commit.
- What happens if something goes wrong on the day?
- The day gets rearranged around it. Traffic diversions, barricades, queue lengths and weather are outside anyone's control, but a named coordinator and a driver who stays contactable mean the rest of the itinerary is rebuilt rather than dropped.
Reading the booking terms first is sensible — cancellation windows in particular.
